JOHN KICK, Ph.D., Senior Geophysicist
RSI works cooperatively with Dr. John Kick on seismic refraction and gravity projects. With over 45 years of geophysical experience, including 40+ years as the owner and principal geophysicist of Kick GeoExloration, Dr. Kick brings to RSI his expertise in gravity surveying. He has completed hundreds of a wide variety of geophysical surveys for environmental and engineering clients, ranging in size from the Exxon Corporation to private individuals. His projects have ranged from landfill studies, hazardous waste and contamination migration studies, water exploration studies, and numerous geotechnical and engineering studies. In addition to a large arsenal of geophysical techniques, Dr. Kick also has been involved in numerous geologic investigations, including fracture trace and plane intersection analyses, geologic and bedrock mapping, and photo lineament analyses. His gravity work has involved travel to Turkey, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Trinidad, and throughout the United States.
Cameron Russ, B.S., Geophysicist
Cameron joined the RSI team in the spring of 2014 and has conducted a variety of geological surveys across the Northeast. In addition to his time in the field, he reduces the data as well. Cameron graduated Bates College with a B.S. in Geology and a concentration in Physics. His strong GIS background has aided in our interfacing between GPS and Geophysical Data, adding to the strength if the RSI team.
Mackenzie Kilpatrick joined the RSI team in the spring of 2016, and is concurrently a PhD candidate finishing his dissertation for a doctorate in Geography with an emphasis on remote sensing and environmental change monitoring. Mackenzie has an MS from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Bachelor's from the University of New Hampshire. Mackenzie has expertise in GIS, image analysis, spatial statistics, and has field experience ranging from field work in New England to extensive field work campaigns in the remote mountains of Nevada.
Rick Lammey, Geophysical Technician
Rick Lammey joined the RSI team as a Geophysical Technician in June of 2013. Rick has a very strong technical background in the electronics/telecommunications industry, and is very knowledgeable in the construction and environmental industries. Rick has collected field data for RSI throughout New England and the Northeast using GPR, EMI and EM-61.
